Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you book a collection or clearance with SK Waste Services.
Last updated: 10 June 2026
About Us
SK Waste Services is a local, independent waste removal company covering Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire. We are a registered Upper-Tier waste carrier with the Environment Agency (Licence No. CBDU474400) and hold full public liability insurance.
By booking a collection, clearance or other service with us, you agree to the terms set out below.
Quotes & Pricing
- Quotes are provided free of charge and without obligation, based on the information and/or photos you provide.
- All quotes are fixed-price wherever possible. If, on arrival, the volume, type or accessibility of the waste is significantly different from what was described, we will let you know before any extra charge applies — there are no hidden fees.
- Prices include collection, transport and responsible disposal or recycling of the agreed items.
Booking & Access
- Bookings can be made by phone, WhatsApp, email or via our contact form.
- You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the items being collected, including any relevant parking, key codes or building access information.
- For most residential collections you do not need to be present, provided we have agreed access in advance. For house clearances and commercial jobs, a representative should be on-site.
Cancellations & Changes
We understand plans change. Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, ideally at least 24 hours' notice, so we can offer the slot to another customer. Repeated late cancellations or no-access visits may be subject to a reasonable call-out charge.
Payment
Payment is due on or before completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing (for example, for commercial accounts). We accept the payment methods confirmed at the time of booking.
Waste We Cannot Accept
As a licensed waste carrier, we cannot collect or transport hazardous waste, including but not limited to:
- Asbestos
- Clinical or medical waste
- Chemicals, solvents and pesticides
- Gas cylinders, explosives or ammunition
- Radioactive materials
If you are unsure whether an item can be collected, please ask us before booking.
Responsible Disposal & Recycling
All waste collected is taken to licensed recycling, recovery or disposal facilities. We aim to recycle or divert from landfill over 90% of what we collect. Waste transfer notes are provided for all commercial collections and on request for domestic jobs.
Liability
- We take care when accessing your property, but please point out any items, surfaces or access routes that need particular care before work begins.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage to items that are unstable, poorly packed, or not flagged to us in advance.
- We hold full public liability insurance, details of which are available on request.
Items Left for Collection
Once items are handed over or made available for collection, ownership passes to SK Waste Services and we will deal with them in line with our recycling and disposal practices. We are not responsible for the recovery of items mistakenly included in a clearance, so please double-check before we begin.
Complaints
If you're not happy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible at skwasteservices@gmail.com or 07355 266384 so we can put things right.
